Artist, Educator and Professional Raccoon
Alanna Berman is a Baltimore-based artist whose work centers on handmade processes, material curiosity, and environmental care. Her practice spans fine art, embroidery, community-based plastic-upcycling initiatives, and teaching in public elementary schools. Alanna works with reclaimed and existing materials whenever she can, guided by an interest in circularity—the idea that materials can be reused, redirected, and given multiple lives instead of ending up as waste.
